Electrical machinery's power and the voltage and the electric current product is proportional, so when low-voltage electrical power increases to a certain extent (such as 300KW/380V), the current carrying capacity by allowing the wire constraints, it is difficult bigger, or cost too high, which need to be achieved by increasing the voltage of power output. High-voltage motor is the motor rated voltage above 1000V, often uses the voltage is 6000V and 10000V.Operating environment and operating conditions because the impact of constant, daily will cause insulation aging, resulting in high voltage motor failures, including the layer insulation breakdown, inter-turn insulation breakdown, winding ground fault circuit winding faults, winding short circuit fault, the stator winding insulation wear and electrical corrosion, leakage current, dielectric loss angle increases, the coil and the wear between the end hoops breakdown, the coil end insulation subjected to mechanical damage slot and wedge loosening.It can be seen the importance of insulation in the motor, motor insulation life also depends on the life of the main, it was known as the motor in the heart of the insulation. Domestic and foreign scientific and technological personnel has been new competition in the development or improvement of the main insulating material in order to improve the performance of the main insulation, the motor has a greater market competitiveness.With the high-voltage motors less plastic VPI (Vacuum pressure impregnation) the maturation of the whole leaching process, the superior insulation, moisture, vibration, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and saving labor, material saving features have been more and more high-voltage motor understanding of manufacturing enterprises, and widely used. In this paper, the latest high-voltage electrical insulation and insulating materials research, technical knowledge combined with high voltage insulation, and analyzed the whole leaching process less gum VPI insulation defects of the motor the feasibility of local processing, research and successful practice to explore an effective "Less plastic VPI motor insulation defects in the entire Baptist 6kV local approach," Using this method, the whole of a small plastic VPI Baptist 6kV motor coils and the end of the upper edge of the local insulation defects treated DC voltage test pass, the actual running well, the whole coil, compared with the replacement of the motor, saving a lot of human, financial and time made a very significant economic and social benefits.
