| The open web lightweight steel structure is built by welding the transverse and inclined lace bars on longitudinal chords, which is called the spatial steel frame. The concrete structure with spatial steel frame is gained by substituting.Short pier shear wall is a new type structure which is widely used in the middle or high-rise residential buildings. At present,there is no unified understanding on seismic failure mechanism and seismic design method of the short pier shear walls.It still applies the design method of conventional shear wall in the specification. Therefore,further experimental study on mechanical behavior and seismic failure mechanism of short pier shear wall is necessary.In order to improve the seismic performance of the short pier shear walls with the spatial steel frame , cyclic loading experiment of a piece of reinforcement concrete short pier shear wall and four pieces of spatial steel frame concrete short pier shear walls was conducted in this paper. The main work completed is summarized as follows:(1) Studied the seismic performance of rectangular short pier shear walls such as failure patterns,hysteretic properties,bearing capacity,displacement ductility,stiffness degradation and energy dissipation capacity etc.,based on the experimental study.The experiment showed that,spatial steel frame can improve initial stiffness,bearing capacity,ductility,energy dissipation capacity and reduce the speed of stiffness degradation.Tests results also suggested that the bearing capacity of the wall increased,but the ductility decreased with an increase of axial load ratio.Therefore, at design time ,it is important to control axial load ratio in order to avoid brittle failure.(2) Nonlinear finite element model (NFEM) was established based on ABAQUS software.The overall process of short pier shear wall was analyzed by using the above-mentioned NFEM.Compared the calculation results to the experimental results to demonstrate the feasibility of the finite element analysis.The foregoing NFEM was applied to study structural behavior based on different sectional deepth to thickness ratio and reinforcement.The stress distribution law and transfer mechanism of spatial steel frame concrete short pier shear wall was analyzed according to stress nephogram.(3)Based on the experimental study and nonlinear finite element analysis,the reasonable methods and details of seismic design were suggested. |
