A new high-pile wharf with crutain wall is studied, that is exactly a new structure type wharf of big tonnage. For the high-pile wharf with curtain wall, whose proposed construction site is situated in seismically active region, the research of the seismic behavior of structure is very important in structural design. And in the view of the importance of new wharf structure itself, we must discuss its seismic behavior. This paper is aimed to study seismic behavior of high-pile wharf with crutain wall in the following areas of work:This paper aims at studying"seismic behavior of high-pile wharf with curtain wall"in the following areas of work:1. Mainstream wharf structure's characteristics and seismic behavior in the world now is introduced, and the practicality of high-pile wharf with curtain wall is analyzed.2. This paper uses finite element software to simulate the platform structure: including computational model selection and model foundation, and boundary condition determination considering the soil-structure interaction, and structure damping determination, and selection of earthquake waves, and the amplitude determination. Considering the pile-soil interaction, determine the equivalent spring stiffness by using the the solution of ANSYS, then the time-history response and dynamic response analysis of wharf are given based on the above conditions. Evaluates the safety of the wharf by seismic response analysis.3. Research the effect of curtain wall parameters on seismic behavior of wharf, and put forward three parameters that affect curtain wall performance: existence of curtain wall, thickness of curtain wall and buried depth of curtain wall. Build wharf structure models under different parameters, and anaylis corresponding seismic behavior to every model. Find out the effect of curtain wall parameters on seismic behavior of wharf by results analytic comparison.4. Finally, give advice to improve anti-seismic capability of high-pile wharf with curtain wall through numerical simulation: in the analysis of seismic behavior, the contact strength between longitudinal and latitudinal beams, curtain wall and pile, is not enough, and it should be reinforced to avoid the mutation of displacement and stress concentration.
