Dye and Quantum Dots (QDs)-sensitized solar cells have attracted more attention in recent years. In this paper, DSSC and QDSSC fabrication were investigated, and the focus was that semicondutor films were deposited on the trasparent conductive oxide(TCO) glass as photoanode and the film properties were discussed. The films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-visiable spectrum. The films as the photoanode were assembled into the solar cells and photovoltaic properties in these cells were investigation by the electrochemical station analytic system. In the study of DSSC photoanodes, the differrent morphologies (nanorods, nanotubes and nanosheets) of ZnO were obtained through tuning the parameters in the process of electrochemical deposition. The films as photoanode material were assembled into DSSCs.In the study of QDSSC photoanodes, ZnO/PbS and ZnO/PbS/Cu2-xS films were fabricated successfully as the photoanode, and assembled into QDSSCs.The results show that nanosheets morphology of ZnO was capable of absorbing more dye particles. And it possesses light-scattering effects, so the photoelectric conversion efficiency (η) of the DSSC is more excellent than others. theηof the QDSSC in which ZnO/PbS/Cu2-xS was acted as the photoanode is more strengtheren than ZnO/PbS.
