Compared with other types of transportation, railway becomes an important traffic for passengers because of its many advantages. In China, the railway network has covered many areas, while the running of passenger trains has been limited, which lead to no operation of trains between two arbitrary passenger stations. So, it's a significant issue to propose a reasonable scheme for passengers to transit other trains, and the selection of transfer routes is the core of studying transfer issue for passengers. Studying optimization model of transfer routes has significant meaning to both railway passenger transportation department and passengers.The paper has analyzed generally about the characteristics of railway transfer and operation of railway whole journey tickets, and pointed that it's a key to find the shortest distance so as to enjoy discount fares that is the faster the cheaper.The paper has made a detail analysis of the complex railway network, found the key point of the network, and constructed a railway network in which took fulcrum stations and end stations as knots. Besides, the network model contained the situation of departure and end stations being immediate stations, so it has provided reliable network for resolving problems existing in transfer. According to the train stops' characteristics of railway network, the author has simplified properly the transfer network.United railway network and transfer network to be transfer equivalent network, which made practical and effective relation between the model of railway network and the operation of passenger train, and ensured the rationality of passenger routs. At the moment, this paper has provided information matrix of railway trains for transfer equivalent network, which covered the complicated information of trains well.The paper has analyzed the different methods and algorithms for passenger transit routs, and has compared Floyd with Dijkstra. Besides, the paper has improved the model of passenger transit routs, and defined sequence-correlation and sequence-plus according to the characteristics of passenger trains operation. Dijkstra is proposed to resolve the problem about transit routs. What's more, the paper has proposed the method which achieves the aim at the shortest route and much less transfer time in passenger transit routs through railway.At last, the author has analyzed the model through an example.The paper has connected railway network with train operation plans practically and effectively, which provides a new prospective to study passenger transit routs by trains, so it is worthy of reference.
