With the development of pulse power technology, whose application is more and more widespread. It has put forward higher requirerment in discharge time, current amplitude etc. What is more, high temperature superconducting (HTS) technology has been used widely in the area of pulsed power technology, in which superconducting magnets energy storage, superconducting pulse transformer, superconducting switches are the application examples of high temperature superconducting technology in pulsed power technology. Based on the application of HTS energy-storage magnets in pulsed power technology, superconducting power pulse system detection is studied in this paper.As one of the kinds of HTS pulse power technology, HTS storage technology's function is to make the energy compression release after being changed. Then the pulse of electricity is got whose character is high amplitude, steep front and high-power.As a result, the status and stability monitoring of HTS energy storage system is one of the core of superconducting power pulse system. Firstly, Expounds the significance of the pulse power system status and necessity of stability monitoring, this paper introduces some relevant monitoring system theory. According to the characteristics of superconducting power pulse system to determine the composition of the hardware system monitoring. Analyzed the double module pulse power characteristics, energy-storage simulation analysis found that superconducting magnets discharge the output waveform with load is concerned, not only with the connection mode and switch delay involved. A condition monitoring system of superconducting power pulse is designed based on the Lab VIEW in this paper. Through each sensor, signal regulate circuit and high-precision data acquisition system, data of superconducting power pulse is collected accurately. Then making use of the powerful data processing ability of virtual instruments, the operating status of superconducting pulse power system can be judged accurately, test results show that the monitoring system runs successfully.The system designed in the paper can realize real-time data acquisition and processing,whose function also satisfy monitoring requirements of the HTS pulse power system.Of course, it also provide accurate data for later experimental analysis.
