Wind power has become a great and promising form to generate electricity in recent energy industry as its properties of clean, renewable, safe and reliable. Because of the deep gap between China and the west countries which have advanced wind power technology, the MW-class wind turbine technologies are all imported, especially the blade which is one of the key components of the wind turbine. The sciences of design and analysis have not been developed sufficiently. This paper focuses on the analysis methods of the blade structure performance based on the practice engineering blade material dates. Some main results are obtained.1) An effective approach of building the FE model of composite blades with complex internal laminate structure is investigated:Firstly, the large wind power blades were reasonable simplified and modeled according to the characteristics of large wind-power blades with the actual information. The model emphasizes the simulation of the composites layer structure. In order to pursue the identical with the practical designed model, the analysis of frequencies, displacements and local strains were made to verify the correctness of FE blade we modeled.2) This paper introduced a full set of analytical method to check large wind turbine blades by using finite element software:In blade strength analysis, the normal strength of blade was checked by using the blade strength theory, and the blade material strength meet the requirement of static strength under the maximum load. In fatigue performance calculation, the forming process of the fatigue load and the calculation method of fatigue damage were studied in the thesis. In the stability analysis, the loading method of blade buckling stability and the judgment basis of calculation results were explored through adopting the subsection calculation model. Finally, using this software, each sectional stiffness, the area, the centroid and the distribution of the center of gravity were calculated approximately. Compared with theoretical method, the FE method was operated and convenient, it is a kind of engineering algorithm with high precision.3) The analytical results will provide favorable references for engineering practice:In the thesis, the blade structure was calculated through adopting the section analysis method, and the results presented the distribution regularity of the blade structure various performances, it can provide detail reference data for the design and optimization of the blade. In the process of computation, the GL standard was referred to and each factor of engineering application was considered, the calculative results can guide engineering application correctly and have strongly practical application value.
