Today,more and more governments pay their large attention to wind power because of its characteristics of cleaniness and free pollution.Our country has rich wind energy resources and in recent years the wind power industry in our country is growing rapidly. However, the autonomy of our wind turbine research and development capability significantly lag behind many developed countries, especially in large-scale megawatt-class wind turbine research. Therefore, it is very important for our country to develop high-performance, large capacity wind turbine power system.This paper mainly studies the dynamic model for the VSCF wind power generation system including :wind speed model,wind turbine model,transmission mode and the generator model,and discusses the control strategies of the VSCF wind power generation system. Then we builded a simuation model of the VSCF wind power generation system in MATLAB/simulink.Based on the simulink model we researched the dynamic characteristics of the VSCF under low wind speed.The simulation results show the correctness of the model as well as the effectiveness of the control strategies。At last,we discussed the pitch angle control of the wind turbine system under high wind speed and designed a fuzzy logic controller.The fuzzy logic controller can adjust the pitch angle of the system to keep the output power under limit.
