Modeling And Simulation Of The Chemical And Volume Control System In Nuclear Power Units

This paper's content is modeling and simulation of the chemical and volume control system in nuclear power units. The chemical and volume control system, which is one of the nuclear island's main auxiliary systems, ensures that the reactor runs safely. Modeled and precisely simulated RCV, we not only can give a big push to the development of homemade nuclear power plant simulators, but also can study the reactivity control and coolant impurity content control in depth, which ensures that the reactor runs safely. The model of the chemical and volume control system is based single phase fluid network; all the equipments are connected to the pipes and nodes in fluid network. The single phase fluid network model is built with the method of prototype network. And it calculates pressure of nodes and flow of slip roads. Based on this, it also calculates temperature, enthalpy and impurity content of nodes. The models of filters, volume control tanks, boron ion demineralizers and mixed bed demineralizers are achieved with the mechanism method. The functions and implement methods of heat interchangers, pumps, pipes, valves and restriction orifices is introduced. The datainterchange and sequence of modules operation in the RCV model is discussed in detail. Give a simply introduce of Baoding Sinosimu Technology Co., Ltd's STAR-90 simulation system. And the simulationstudy of the RCV model is accomplished on the STAR-90 simulation system. The modules of RCV single phase fluid network, filters, volume control tanks, boron ion demineralizers and mixed bed demineralizers are made a particular simulationstudy. In the end we summarize the work in this thesis, and point out that the RCV model built in this thesis needs a lot of work to do to be used in nuclear power unit full scope simulators.
