As wind power plays a prominent role in reducing environmental pollution, adjusting energy structure and easing Energy crisis, it has become a more and more important part of renewable energy. With the rapid development of wind power in China, variable-speed constant-frequency doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) has become the mainstream models in large-scale wind farm with its outstanding advantages. It is meaningful to study modeling method of wind farm which is composed of DFIGs and power control Strategy of wind farms, with its significant help in reducing wind power impact on power grid and wind power scheduling.According to State Grid Corporation's "wind power running control technology requirements", this paper studied on wind farm composed of DFIGs, did the research on the modeling of the wind farm and its power regulate and control methods. and used PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation platform as a tool for simulation, analysis and verification.This paper studies modeling and control theory technology of DFIG firstly. Then the field oriented control technology is applied to DFIG to achieve a variable speed constant frequency control. Based on PSCAD/EMTDC, this paper established a model of doubly-fed wind turbine power system. This study provides the platform and technical support for search. On the basis of theory and simulation, this paper studies on the double-fed wind turbine torque control and pitch angle control further more. Considering practical projects, active power control of wind turbine self-regulation and implementation is optimized, which makes the control more accurate and effective. After the studies on DFIG simulation model and power improved control method, this paper did researches on simulation modeling method of wind farm composed of DFIGs and established the wind farm model on PSCAD/EMTDC. Combined with analysis and research of DFIG active power and reactive power regulatory capacity, a suggestion of wind farm power regulation is put forward.On the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation platform, we built a wind farm model and power regulation module to do testing. The results show that its model and suggestion are accuracy and effectiveness.
