Wind energy, as a kind of renewable energy, is paid attention to by governments all around the world. The wind power technology and its equipment research become a hot spot topic for technical circles and enterpris. The technology of generating electric power by force of wind has got comparatively broad and prompt development in the world, aerogenerator has developed gradually to large-scale-rization and being commercialized, too. According as Kyoto protocol putting into effect, wind power generates electricity in the days to come would have more than using traditional fossil fuel to generate electricity competition.Wind rotor control including the control of yaw and variable pitch. The system of yaw and variable pitch is the most important components of wind power generating , which has an direct impact to the aircraft crew utilization ratio to the wind energy source and the complete machine function. Based on having carried out large amount of the data surveying and looking up a relevance's, backing "large-scale wind power of Lan Zhou City key scientific and technological projects aircraft crew check and monitor the feedback control device ", take 1.5 MW level wind power generating set as the fundamental equipment according to having set forth the large-scale wind power generating set. The development condition and trend of the technology of demostic and abroad wind power electric power generation in the present stage is analysed.In order to design a wind turbine control system with excellent performance and high reliability, it is very important to investigate the dynamic respons characteristics of wind turbine. First, this paper study of the variable pitch wind turbine aerodynamics. The mathematical models for the components of wind turbine have been developed, and the state equations of the system have been obtained by adopting the local linerity method. the effect Of wind speed,electric voltage and varying pitch on the response characteristics has been preliminary investigated with Simple simulation. In the thesis,the pitch-controlled theoretical basis is put forward by research of wind turbine aerodynamic characteristics and is proved rationally by Simplified model emulation. Electronic devices are use to resolve varable pitch's response of wind speed on the high-frequency. A speed study of the optimization program and a variable-speed control methods in order to get the optimize power curve.On the basis of analyzing the control process completely,the thesis designs yaw control system for WTGs using 89C51 single-chip computer as a main control unit.The control system faces the wind actively by logical control and is controllable during the process of facing wind. It can exactly trace wind direction and automatically release winding cable caused by the yaw. The thesis accomplishes the software and hardware design of the control system based on sensors of wind direction.Then ,the hydraulic sysytem of yaw is designed and optimizd, principle has deduced system mathematic model according to power interlinking picture; Using the MATLAB7.1 Simulink tool case , made an simulation for the system of yaw; The results of simulation proveded the forceful theory and experiment basis for the design and optimization simulating of the wind power generating set yaw hydraulic pressure system.
