In this article, a photovoltaic battery model is established in MATLAB.We have a detailed presentation about the output of the photovoltaic battery when the environment temperature and light intensity have changed, it has obvious nonlinear features. We also introduce several common maximum power point tracking methods and propose an improved method of MPPT, through S-Function programming and building modules, the article realizes a more rapid stable tracking with its maximum power point. This article builds a Boost circuit to achieve the output of implementation of maximum power point in the system, and the system is further optimization with a single-phase bridge type PWM inverter circuit.The small photovoltaic power generation system in this article uses the ATMEGA8 single chip microcomputer, ATMEL company's production, as photovoltaic controller chip, the hardware design have ICCAVR to write C language program and produce lossless file, Building controller circuit in PROTEUS environment, and call lossless file so as to realize the alignment with ICCAVR, after debugging success you can have a convenient rendering PCB in PROTEUS, Thus laid an important foundation for small photovoltaic controller commercialized batch production. At the end of the article we also introduce these external equipments such as the battery, the photovoltaic cable and corona device to make photovoltaic system become more perfect.
