Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals(EDCs),also called environmental hormone,are defined as exogenous substances,Mainly for a number of synthetic chemicals and natural plant compounds.These compounds into the living body through the food chain,and to mimic hormones,to directly stimulate or inhibit the endocrine system,which would seriously interfere with the normal hormone balance and regulate the body to maintain the role of developmental processes,leading to reproductive,developmental and behavioral abnormalities. In recent years, with large amounts of plastic products, chemical raw materials and synthetic chemicals producted and used,a wide distribution of EDCs into environment,became a global social problems,have been paid more and more attention in recent years.The different water treatment process in Pingshantou waterplant of Huainan city have been studied in this paper,Established a method for solid-phase extraction (SPE) concentrated and high performance liquid chromatography analysis of water sample.Detected four kinds of EDCs(DMP,DEP,DBP,BBP),Ethinylestradiol(EE2),Estrone(E1),BisphenolA(BPA) and Nonylphenol(NP) which has been widespread concern.The research results are as follows:1. Using SPE method of water samples,EDCs of PAEs,EE2,E1,BPA and NP suitable for the establishment of the HLB SPE method of enrichment of water samples.2. The chromatographic conditions for HPLC analysis which type is D-2000 Elite type of Hitachi were established for the determination of four kinds of PAEs,EE2,E1,BPA and NP.Its ultra-pure water recovery rate are greater than 90%,So this method can be accurate quantificantion of EDCs in water.3. The concentration of EDCs as X-axis, the detection peak area as Y-axis, drawing the standard curve.The standard curve obtained good linearity,Linear correlation coefficient was greater than 0.9950.4. In the optimal operating conditions, according to the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) S/N=3,the detection limit of four kinds of APEs ranged from 0.10μg/L~0.14μg/L,the detection limit of EE2 and E1 are 0.60ng/L and 1.11ng/L,the detection limit of BPA and NP are 0.01μg/L and 0.02μg/L5. We investigated eight kinds of EDCs from source water,output water which from traditional water purification process for each unit and the water pipe network.The results show that half of DMP were detected and the other were not detected in water samples,the detection rate is 50%,the concentration is 0.045μg/L~0.041μg/L;DEP was detected only in the source water and rest were not detected in water samples,the concentration is 0.021μg/L;The remaining six kinds of EDCs in warious water were all detected,the detection rate is 100%, BBP's concentration is 0.257μg/L~0.660μg/L,DBP's concentration is 1.702μg/L~2.857μg/L, EE2's concen-tration is 0.126ng/L~0.305ng/L,E1's concentration is 0.158 ng/L~0.315 ng/L,BPA's concentration is 0.041μg/L~0.084μg/L,NP's concentration is 0.224μg/L~0.323μg/L The water body in this plant have alresdy been polluted to varying degress with typical EDCs, relevant departments should give highly value.6. From detectable concentration we can see,the concentrations of most EDCs left in the effluent of the plant are increased after pipe delivering,indicating that EDCs in drinking water partly come from the release of pipe material for water delivering besides the contaminated source water.7. There are no rule to follow with EDCs in coagulation-sedimentation and chlorination process,may be in coagulation-sedimentation process which add flocculant polyaluminium chloride(PAC) contains impurities or EDCs in source water with flocculant were formed a new EDCs.And several byproducts of BPA and NP were found in chlorination.8. Conventional drinking water treatment process of EDCs removal is very limited,so must promptly research and improvement the drinking water treatment process,to improve the effective removal.
