Abstract/Summary:
In view of Chongqing is a mountain city with road features,how to grasp the road capacity and the adaptability analysis of traffic is a key issue for the traffic planning and management of mountain city road. So this article proposed a index system of evaluation for service level of mountain city road, giving the evaluation indexs that reflect the service level of mountain city road objectively and efficiently, for the problems,such as weak systematic research, mixed types of indicators and so on, existing in the research of service leve for mountain city road.As the fundamental part of service level evaluation of mountain city road, the current definition method of city road capacity was described firstly in this paper, quote the concept and model of equivalent capacity:using road travel speed instead of space average speed, to get density - velocity relation of different levels of mountain city road.In the system of evaluation for mountain city road, with the premise of the concept of equivalent capacity, this paper combines the evaluation and analysis service level on the roads both at home and abroad, proposed the evaluation system and method for mountain city road intersections, roads and road network, and demonstrated the effectiveness of the evaluation methods by examples. To analysising the factors of service level of mountain city road, this paper ,starting from three aspects that are factors of transport facilities, transport run and traffic control, With the methods that combines theoretical analysis and field survey, get the recommended values of the factors, to provide a useful reference and foundation for traffic managers.Finally, optimized the main parameters of the remote control on the mountain city through searching influencing factors of mountain city's road capacity, in order to reduce traffic delays and improve the traffic capacity of roads.
