Urban transport traffic control is considered as an important component of intelligent transportation system.For the drawbacks of traditional traffic control techniques,people have begun to apply Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Computational Intelligence (CI) to urban transport traffic control in recent years. Fuzzy Controllers strategy is formatted through the study, test, and the of long-term accumulation of experience can be described using natural language, especially for complex systems and uncertain objects, and it has strong robustness.Therefore, intelligent traffic control system which based on fuzzy logic has developed rapidly. In this paper, macroscopic traffic flow model which is based on the density of urban transport traffic flow takes into account the complexity of change, and it also combines with the city to improve its transport topology,.it joines the density of traffic flow model,and it does not take into account changes in the traffic main road traffic. We use of compartmental system theory establish the model of traffic flow which is a compartmental system of macroscopic traffic flow model.Then we designed a fuzzy controller based on the establishment of compartmental traffic flow model.This fuzzy controller has studied the entrance road traffic control. in order to take full advantage of the city roads we design a fuzzy PID controller taking into account the effect of fuzzy controller. The simulation results show that the fuzzy PID controller to control better, faster and dynamic response, the main as follows:①compartmental system is a system to meet the conservation of mass and has a network interconnection structure. Many complex systems can be described with the compartmental syste. Because the flow of traffic flow and velocity has changed dramatically, and its structure is complex, so it is difficult to describe with conventional models. because the model has its own flaws and it can not be better description of traffic flow.we established a macroscopic traffic flow model on the compartmental system theory on the basis of macro-city transport topology.②we designed a fuzzy controller based on the macroscopic traffic flow in the compartmental system model.and it ultimately have a good control of traffic congestion on the city.and the simulation algorithm was validated. Simulation results show that the algorithm control effect is superior than the traditional method superior.③we considered that in the Fuzzy control algorithm there is a problem in the selection of membership function and the fuzzy control rules because of complexity of the model ,so we designed a fuzzy PID controller. We simulated the fuzzy PID controller in the same traffic conditions. compared to the vehicle control simulation results show that the fuzzy PID controller has the faster response, better control quality with the fuzzy controller fuzzy controller.In this paper according to city traffic topology map we use of compartmental system theory establish the model of traffic flow model.The model is based on density macroscopic traffic flow model.We designed a fuzzy logic controller based on the traffic flow model.Simulation results show that it can prevent the traffic congestion.Taking into account the selection of fuzzy logic control rules and other complex problems We designed a fuzzy PID controller.We simulated the fuzzy PID controller in the same traffic conditions. compared to the vehicle control simulation results show that the fuzzy PID controller has the faster response,better control quality with the fuzzy controller fuzzy controller.
