| The traditional method of seismic design only provides the minimum fortification requirements, it cannot ensure the structural performance under earthquake, therefore, using many levels fortification which is based on the performance of the seismic design method is the development trend of future earthquake engineering, and determining the performance objective is the basis and key of performance-based seismic design method. The paper selects reinforced concrete frame, reinforced concrete frame-shear wall, reinforced concrete shear wall and steel structure to analysis and research performance spectra.1. First of all, the paper sums up China,Japan,Europe and United States of four structural fundamental vibration period empirical formulas, these national codes are based on actual measurement. According to different structure types, this paper establishes the relationship of structural period empirical formulas with height and width (or layers), and draws four structural carves about vibration period and height.2. 1085 ground motions are collected from the University of California Berkeley Pacific earthquake engineering research center. Using the relationship between damage coefficient and maximum story drift, this paper obtains minor moderate and major seismic story drift. According to FEMA450 vibration period formulas, performance spectra with different characteristic period are calculated and obtained by using the elastic and inelastic time history analysis.3. In order to compare the difference between these national four structural performance spectra under different vibration period, performance spectra with different characteristic period are calculated. The performance spectra obtained by these national vibration period divides which is obtained by the vibration period formula of American FEMA450,and this paper draws the performance spectra ratio carve under different performance levels of four structures.4. In order to research the story drift influence on performance spectra of four structure, the paper expands the story drift, respectively, 2 times,3 times, 4 times, 5 times and 6 times under minor moderate and major earthquake, performance spectra under different story drift multiple are obtained according to FEMA450 vibration period formula. In order to compare the difference between performance spectra under different story drift multiple, which the performance spectra are in the same performance levels, performance spectra with different story drift multiple divides performance spectra with double story drift multiple. |
