Study On The Control Of City Interfaces Based On City Planning Boundary

With the development of economy and society, the urbanization of our country has accelerated and soared into a new stage. Nevertheless, with the fast expansion of the urban size, the urban fringe, as component pioneering parts of urbanization, have taken on more and more problems including the absence of the control of the city interfaces, the confusion of the administration, the blindness of the construction, which all render the urban fringe alike and featureless. By summarizing and concluding relevant theories and at the same time studing and analysing cases from home and abroad, this thesis systematically propose the principles and methods which control and study the city interfaces based on city planning boundary, hoping it can play a reference role to the constructions underway in the urban fringe.(1) Discriminating the connotations of the city interface based on city planning boundary, systematically proposing the composing elements, substantive characteristics and the constitutive principle of the city interfaces based on city planning boundary by analysing relative connotations such as constitute and features.(2)Concluding designers and their theories and works which contributes to the city interface and relative areas in the city construction history, illustrating and analysing three relatively successful modern cases on city interface planning and construction of urban fringe.(3)After summarizing relevant theories and practical experience, systematically proposing relevant methods and dimension of controlling the city interface based on city planning boundary.(4)By empirical research of the west gate of Qingdao—the east coast of Jiaozhou Bay and its surrounding areas, the thesis applys the theories into practice and thus construct a city interface, which embraces Qingdao features of"mountains, seas and cities"based on city planning boundary.To study the controlling the city interface based on planning boundary of the city, this thesis renders a systematical and comprehensive conclusion and conducts thoroughly exploration, and further, puts forward numerous new methods and viewpoint on the bases of practical cases, all above bring positive influence to the study of relevant areas of the city interface based on city planning boundary.
