This thesis discusses the crack generation of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" and control samples (ordinary primer and UV finish paint) during 49 days' UV/Condensation cycling; the hot-melt paint's influence on dimension stability and hardness of bamboo scrimber flooring; and the paint film properties of bamboo scrimber flooring with hot-melt paint, the results showed that:The crack number, crack length and crack area ratio of hot-melt paint film after 49 days' UV/Condensation cycling were decreased by 86.4%,51.4% and 35.5% respectively compared with that of control samples. The anti-crack property of hot-melt paint was better than that of control samples.The hot-melt paint have no significant influence on the dimension stability of each bamboo scimber flooring group when exposed to (20±3)℃, (90±5)% RH for 21 days and 24h water soaking.The paint film's adhesion and anti-contamination property of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" is better than control samples, the paint film's abrasion performance of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" is better than control samples when exposed to (20±3)℃, (65±5)%RH.When exposed to (20±3)℃, (90±5)%RH for 3 weeks and after 49 days'UV/Condensation cycling, the hardness of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" were significant higher than control samples; when exposed to (20±3)℃, (65±5)%RH and after 24h water soaking, there was no significant difference between bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" and control samples.Through SEM analysis, the bonding property of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" is better than control samples after UV/Condensation cycling. Through FT-IR analysis, the paint film of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" is PUR based paint, and control samples' paint film is non-PUR based paint. After 49 days' UV/Condensation cycling, the paint film's degradation of bamboo scrimber flooring with "hot-melt paint as primer and UV finish paint" was not remarkable, and can effectively restrict the appearance of cracks, but the paint film's degradation of control samples was obviously, the paint film is easy to crack.
