Hypersonic vehicles ,with quick reach, global strike, destroying force, and strongpenetration ability, have clear military advantages,while its superior time savings indicateshuge economic potential and wealth of the civilian market,and become the new focusof national researches.Currently hypersonic technology is led by the United States andRussia, Australia, India, Japan, France, Britain and other countries have also investedsignificant capital and manpower.Wind tunnel test is an indispensable means and tools in hypersonic vehicle develop-ment process,but the results have some di?erence with the real ?ight conditions for aero-dynamic correlation e?ects.Numerical results and experimental data can confirm eachother, moreover,numerical simulation can get more detailed and comprehensive informa-tion of ?ow and structure Than the experiment,which is conducive to early detection andresolution of problems,higher time and cost savings also,so it is having been favored bynational researchers and the proportion of its application is gradually increasing in thestudy of hypersonic vehicle projects.The hypersonic technology of China started lately, theory and technology founda-tion is still Weak and only a few studies related are available,This paper took full use ofcommercial numerical simulation platforms'convenience and economy to have a usefulexploration about the hypersonic ?ow phenomena and ?ow mechanism,at the same timeaccumulated data and experience for the relevant researches.Three entities were created,including the famous X-43A test vehicle, and which was successfully achieved paramet-ric modeling, accordingly the size-driven model only needs a few seconds to completemodification and updating.The three aircraft physical models all obtained high-qualitymesh data files using a variety of ideas at the application of ICEM CFD software ,de-scribed various characteristics of mesh topology, design ideas and quality control stan-dards and techniques in detail,it has a certain significance to future aircraft entity mod-eling and mesh generation work with similar shapes.Model3 aircraft model was focusedon multi-condition computing terms ,such as aerodynamic calculation, gas heat couplingcalculation,gas thermoelastic coupling calculation at a variety of ?ight conditions,andhypersonic ?ow characteristics,it's in?uencing factors and the structure and ?ow fieldinteraction was also analyzed furthermore. This paper also described the development of domestic and international status ofhypersonic technology,the main research projects and its technical progress,as wellas the development process of vehicle models.It had a basic geometry constitution knowl-edge overview,summarized modern CAD technology development status,and investigat-ed geometric modeling ideas and features of the three-dimensional modeling softwareplatform- UG NX.It introduced the previous work on mesh quality evaluation criteria andit's improvement methods also ,further highlighted the advantage of multi-block structuregrid,block strategy,splicing methods and so on.
