This issue comes from the 2010 College Research Fund for Doctoral (Ph.D. category) project, " The study of the innovation and mechanism for nonfrosting air source heat pump system (NO.20102302110045)".The mechanism of defrosting of ASHP is studied, and the advantages and disadvantages of conventional defrosting method. are analysed. Then working principle and work processes of nonfrosting air-source heat pump system are proposed.On the study of the parameters of different areas of outdoor climate, the different urbans of outdoor climate temperature and humidity in frost zone time are sorted out, and the amount of water vapor which is needed to be dropped in different cities is calculated. It provides a reference for the application of nonfrosting air-source heat pump in different areas and the defrosting work.Basic on nonfrosting principle of ASHP, the spray solution is filtered out. It analysises the properties of dehumidification solution which is currently used, such as lithium bromide solution, lithium chloride and calcium chloride solution, three diethylene glycol solution, glycerol solution. Common dehumidification solution is compared from steam pressure, corrosiveness, economical efficiency aspects. Firstly, in view of corrosive properties, organic solution is filtered out and in comparison of several organic dehumidification solution parameters such as vapor pressure, freezing point, viscosity, the glycerol is elected as the spray solution for outdoor heat exchanger.The change trend of concentration and quality of spray solution is explored through a lot of experiments. Comparing the concentration and flow on the performance of dehumidification solution is to find a reasonable spraying concentration and the flow of the spray solution. Then using this concentration and flow rate in different outdoor climate conditions to analysis of different outdoor conditions and inhibiting influence of frost. The variation of the room fan capacity, indoor heating, power input, COP, water interception of spray solution is provided. In the end of this article, through regeneration of spray solution set condition for experimental data analysis, It analysis the requirement and the feasibility on concentrated regeneration of different areasneeds and provides the references for the applicating of the nonfrosting air-source heat pump.
