Bonded prestressed reinforcement system has become a mature method of reinforcement used in bridge repair and reinforce project. This article relies on the test research of bonded prestressed reinforcement system. In order to study the bending failure mechanism and theory of normal section ultimate capacity of the reinforced concrete beams and bonded prestressed reinforcement beams, prepared the loading test of 9 bending test beams, of which results had proved that the formula is reliable, and summarizes the effect of reinforcement because of different sections and different reinforcement ratio. Also explore the anchorage area effect on the ultimate capacity of shear strength. The non-linear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete can accurately analyze the entire progress of test beams under flexure load, including deflection development, stress distribution, crack development, etc. Reinforced concrete beams and bonded prestressed reinforcement beams with different reinforcement and different section forms has been established finite element analysis model with the finite element analysis software ansys, The results of the numerical analysis of test beams agreed well with the results of theoretical, also analyze the deviation between the test results and numerical analysis results. Proposed several opinions about the bonded prestressed reinforcement system used in bridge strengthening works.
