With the development of high-way in our country,more and more bridges have been required repairing.Strengthening for the bridges has been also in the study which is from negatively strengthening previous to positively strengthening .In the paper, a bonded externally prestressed reinforcing system was proposed according to strengthening with lead load and the stressed characteristic at every stage. For this reinforcing system, firstly, external prestressing was applied to structural and jetting HTCM, finally, forming bonded reinforcing system. Construction technology and key techniques for the reinforcing system were discussed, and calculation of normal section bending load-carrying for reinforcing concrete structure by this system and prestress loss at every stage were analyzed.Finally, imitating the whole construction reinforcing process for a continues-rigid box beam bridge by use of Finite Element software ANSYS, adopting the birth and dead function of element and non-linearity method, analyzing the changes of deflection and stress of primary control section at every construction step, and comparing with the actual measured data, some conclusions were deduced and precious experience was obtained for the expansion and the application of the new reinforcing method.
