With environmental pollution and growing energy shortage, Electric vehicle industry has become popular around the world, In particular, to achieve"zero emissions"pure electric vehicle received wide attention. The subject is based on"pure electric vehicle control"studies done by the project.This article studies pure electric vehicles based on traditional fuel vehicles into the design, so the design part of the mechanical structure is not changed, need to redesign the main electrical parts. According to the basic parameters of vehicle and design performance (dynamic performance, driving range) to calculate power system's parameters (motor, transmission, battery) and selection. Modeling on the vehicle and powertrain components according to the simulink software ADVISOR, then to simulate the dynamic performance of the vehicle and its driving range, demonstrate pre-selection of the power system whether the people's expectations. And affect the dynamic performance and driving range of factors that were simulated.Laying on the vehicle control strategy, the article studies two types control strategy of driving and braking. Pedal-driven control strategy of driving control strategy directly reflects the intent of the driver's operation, also affect the output torque of the motor. Electric vehicles and conventional vehicles of the biggest difference recovery energy when slowing down or braking, in the case of the hardware can not change, Control strategy determines the amount of energy recovery. Developed a mechanical friction brake and motor control strategy in parallel braking control strategy and simulated through ADVISOR, verify the feasibility of braking strategy.To the core of vehicle management unit, constructing of vehicle control framework, carrying on the electrical system design on the basis of vehicle control framework, the design includes two parts, control and CAN communication. Achieving vehicle management unit functions through the software, including the development of CAN protocols and software programming. Finally, the experiment of vehicle is tested.
