Road material accelerated loading test is one of the reliable means to solve the bottleneck problems of road engineering, such as road surface material damage me-chanism and structure optimization design. But the accelerated loading equipments, whether them are developed by ourselves or imported from abroad, are difficult to simulate the real environment and other fields with coupling characteristics. In or-der to solve a series of road engineering practical problems, China will build a new road material accelerated loading experiment device which can be exactly the same as the real environment and many field coupling characteristics. That is to say, the automatic experimental car in road material accelerated loading experiment is one of the key equipments.In order to meet the need of full-scale road materials and structures experiment, this topic designs and researches on an automatic experimental car which is used in road material accelerated loading experiment. Base on the technical indicators, the function and components of automatic experimental car'system is determined. De-sign the system and structure of the various subsystems of automatic experimental car. The paper also did the following work: researches the steady-state model of au-tomatic experimental car turned, determines the design capacity value of the wall of the experimental road, and designs the support guide for bending auxiliary, calcu-lates the intensity and rigidity of the experiment car frame, gets the experimental car frame by the top twenty-order modes. Used ADAMS checking the correctness and reliability of the stress value of the wall in order to ensure the security of the system.The article designed the control unit for automatic experimental car's ve-hicle control system, including the PLC control module, AC servo control module, the visual image processing module and wireless communication modulo. Besides,this paper make a key mark navigation experiment for autopilot control of automatic experimental car, get the road marking line by tracking the navigation edge image after edge detection.In order to ensure the reliability of the structure in the experimental car, this paper used the finite element analysis software ANSYS. Analysis of the key in the automatic experimental car's system overloaded frame of the deformation and vi-bration mode in the turning and bending conditions. Designed of the car body navi-gation parameters extraction algorithm and utilization the reliability of the proposed algorithm.Through the research on the structure and control system of automatic experi-mental car, this paper ensures the experimental car's body structure, sets up the ex-perimental car steady turning mechanical model, ensures the car of the module con-trol scheme, which meet the overall construction project requirements and specifi-cations.
