With the rising of the transportation efficiency requirements, requirements of the load of a trailer is becoming higher and higher in the market; While the civil study of the trailer braking system is lagging behind, which seriously hampers the development of trailers. Therefore, the study of trailer braking system has a significant role in helping the development of trailer. In this paper, via disassembly, internal structure and principle analysis, and model establishment and simulation of a whole trailer braking system produced by WABCO company, theoretical basis is supplied to the experimental study of real trailer braking system. The main task of this issue concludes study of system component working principle and model establishment of system components and simulation.Through systematic analysis, the system is simplified into two subsystems the air supply system and the braking system.Based on open system'energy balance equation, he system models are established, by analyzing internal structure of the key parts four circuit protection valve, relay valve and the brake chamber.Based on the modeling equation, the simulink model is built to simulate the air supply system and the braking system respectively. Open characteristic, flow characteristic, spring preload's influence to the valve port position and relationship between input and output pressure are analyzed. Four circuit valve's inflatable order is accomplished by adjusting the preload of the up spring and the pipe diameter is optimized. In the braking subsystem, the pipe diameter and the tank volume are optimized by analysis of the brake chamber's braking process. |
