| Since the 70 years of 20th century, after the global energy crisis occurred, the green light caused worldwide attention. High Intensity Discharge (HID) light has high efficiency, good color rendering, long life and other characteristics, and also the electronic ballast also has a lightweight, energy-saving, high efficiency, which make the HID lamp lighting system gradually and widely applicated. Thus, HID lamp electronic ballast development has become an important research topic.This Paper provides an overview of electronic ballast development process and present situation, focusing on the immediate properties of light and the HID lamp electronic ballast design to its requirements, and gives the tertiary structure immediately bright HID lamp electronic ballasts Design program. Which implemented immediately on hardware design of electronic ballast for HID lamps for three-level structure, and testing the work waveforms of the main parts. Experimental results show that the three-tier structure has reached a design of electronic ballast requirements. |
