From the invention of the incandescent lamp to the rise of the LED light source, electric light has gone through several generations of development. At the same time people for the lighting requirements not only limited to providing light, but developed into a system, having a design of lighting, electric light, although it is constantly updated, but every generation co-existence of today's lighting project. Wherein the high power gas discharge lamp is more effective to play a pivotal role in a very important industrial and transport fields.Aiming at high-power high-pressure sodium lamp electronic ballast comprehensive design, the high pressure sodium lamp 600W Philips SON series, designed to be applied to the airport the night went to the directions.It introduces the necessity principle and electrical structure HPS principle,With traditional magnetic ballasts detailed comparison, a series of advantages and applications of the advantages of electronic ballasts. After analyzing the contents of the above, detailed description of the high-pressure sodium lamp electronic ballast applied to the design process discipline theory, thereby oriented design phase for the proposed program, the specific theories include:power factor correction (PFC) technology, mainly for the conduct disclosed in active PFC; frequency inverter technology, compared to the three inverters program:push-pull inverter circuit, full bridge inverter circuit, half-bridge inverter circuit, draw the design of appropriate programs; HPS ignition technology for different ignition analyzed, and finally select the load in parallel LC series resonant circuit as a final ignition; analysis of the gas discharge lamp acoustic resonance reasons, compared to FM modulation and amplitude modulation to solve the acoustic resonance problems.After the mains by Active PFC boost circuit L6562 chip control, the output voltage of 400V DC bus voltage as a circuit,400V DC through to SG3525 PWM controller chip as the after Class-D high-frequency AC voltage half-bridge circuit output, and a half bridge arm MOS tube drive integrated drive solutions based on IR2110 and ignition chose the LC series resonant circuit using NE555 chip outputload in parallel 2KHz frequency of the PWM controller to solve the acoustic resonance frequency modulation.Finally, the design of systems for physical production and experimental verification, and ultimately the normal operation 600W high pressure sodium lamp, can meet the normal application.
