The design evaluation and optimization is the cruces in the product research, improvement, and innovation. The traditional design evaluation and optimization techniques were used a serial work flow, completed through the empirical formulas , the multi-domain experts, and a cyclical, repeated works with a design calculation, analysis appraisal, re-design calculation, re-analysis appraisal, specially the massive complicated artificial judgments and coordinated work limitation, lead to a postponing of the new product going on the market time greatly, which created the enormous resources waste, even left behind serious production security risk.Through the distributional, collabrative, visible, digitized method, the modern measuring and control technique realize the data monitor, quality control and value simulation of the complex process, under the Virtual Prototyping simulation design evaluation and optimization method based on the modern measuring and control ideology, this thesis attempts to use the simulation-driven MDO technology to extend the product design process, as well as using multi-domain simulation model, and the virtual evaluation solve the Virtual Prototyping design optimization.First, the simulation-driven complex product design method has been analyzed, from the conceptual design, the preliminary design, to detail designs the thesis has elaborated how to carries on the corresponding effective evaluation, then carried on the induction and synthesis from the global situation, formed a set of completely, progressive evaluation and optimization strategy.Secondly, the essential method of the simulation-driven product Virtual Prototyping collaborative design evaluation and optimization has been given, through the product Virtual Prototyping simulation modelling, collaborative running as well as optimization and evaluation, one kind of distributional collaborative evaluation and optimization pattern has been formed, using simulated model, the multi-domain integration, process control as well as evaluation and optimization of the product design optimization system has been initially solved. Finally, take the design evaluation and optimization of the airline as an example, and take the wing structure, aerodynamics multi-domain design as the object, this thesis carried on the confirmation to the above method, and obtained the synergy, compared with the traditional method, the simulation-driven design evaluation and optimization is more scientific, and more complete, which has the guiding sense to the product design.
