In subsonic, transonic and supersonic wind tunnels, Mach number regulating capacity and precision is an important technical index. Pressure regulating valve used to control the pressure of stable section. The performance of pressure regulating valve will directly affect the operating pressure and the control accuracy of test section Mach number. Therefore, the design of pressure regulating valve system is an important part of the wind tunnel design.This paper design the general of regulating valve system And makes the accuracy of Mach number regulation reaching the national standards. General design of regulating valve system includes aerodynamic configuration design, driven structure design and control system design. This paper presents the details of the design course of each subsystem.Wind tunnel FD12 s pressure regulating valve use the above structure. In the design process, absorb the advanced pressure regulating valve design, selection of an exponential curve as the contour. This paper discusses the index curve as contour in the application of pressure regulating valves, introduces the details of the design method, and analyzes characteristics of pressure regulation under different Mach number. Classical control algorithm and the advanced control module and the application of the software platform, make governing valve control system in wind tunnel FD12 Mach number in the process of adjusting has excellent performance.In wind tunnel FD12 Mach number commissioning process, work out section of PID control specific parameters, solve the problems of the stability of servo valve in the process of Mach number fine-tuning, and in the process of adjusting the sub-transonic analysis curve s regulating characteristics, for the following design accumulated practical experience.
