Harbin Electric Machinery Co., Ltd.(HEC)is the largest power generation equipment manufacturers in China, which provides power generation equipment accounts for the generating equipment one-third of the total installed capacity. The enterprise have conducted a series of product data management (PDM) reconstruction in order to deal with the fierce marketing competition. At present, HEC is extending the UG software applications for the sake of promoting enterprise have comprehensive application 3d design technology. The steam turbine generator rotor coil manufactured by HEC which has complex modeling in space and many detailed features, characteristic dimensions are closely related, involving lots of geometry calculation and feature modeling work; in addition, there are workload big and repetition work about coil 2d drawings. Therefore,it is hope that to promotes the effciency of design of HEC and even more to carry on the resonable integration with the PDM system of enterprise that through to research and develope a set of steam turbine generator based on UG software rotor winding quick design system. This article will research the key techonlogy of the steam turbine generator rotor winding of rapid design system, which is based on the design features and requirement of enterprise of tubine generator rotor coil of Harbin Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. What is more, HEC have developed rapid design system and applicated successfully in enterprise .First of all, the article introduced the project design based on the rotor winding quick design system. Application ADO database interface, UGOPEN API and MFC interface development technology to build a three-layer system structures, and analyzes the work flow and function modules of the system, meanwhile, it has a systemic database design. At first, there are three divisions of system structures of rotor coil that according to the future developing planning of enterprise, specifically, three levels are low-level information storage layer, middle business layer and the client. Meanwhile, it descriptions the working process of the steam turbine generator rotor winding of rapid design system and divides this system function module and studies the method of establishing data base of design system. The key arithmetic which is involved in the process of redevelopment is analysed in this paper. In specific, it contains mathematical modeling which based on corner spline curve of rotor winding and fitted modifying method; then space coordinate transform is smartly added in and applied in the rotor winding modeling and quick assembly are also involved; meanwhile, it also proposes accurate target search, whichi works out the problem of target edge searching in complex 3-dimension model .To realize the rotor winding variant quick design, this paper will conclude the feature of each type of rotor winding and establish the coil feature libray. To achieve the accomplishment of rapid design with configuration, this paper extraction the parameters of characteristics of foreign interface and characteristics of internal model. Finally, realize the rotor winding variant design through the settings interface parameters and modeling parameters perform multiple feature combination. In addition, the paper sets up relevant splitting rule on the basis of the research of design method of rapid design system.Applying above technique, this paper exploits a turbine generator rotor winding rapid design system, and the application of rapid design system in 300MW, 600MW and 200MW. The system runs stably and is able to support design personnel high efficiency and high quality complete design process.
