This paper summarizes the research status of the deep excavation, the analytical theory and the forecasting method of deformation, the importance of site monitoring in the deep excavation. then we imposed the site monitoring on the health road in Harbin and obtain rows of monitoring data. Afterwards, I take the analysis on the data and realize the deformation rule of the deep excavation, such as horizontal displacement of pile top, pile inclination, axial force of the support, ground settlement. Then I predict the deformation of the excavation in the near future.Recently, Computer-aided Engineering has become indispensable to the analysis of the deep excavation. This paper introduces the basic principle of the Finite Element Method, the soil constitutive models and interface models are introduced particularly. Then I adopt the FEA software ABAQUS to simulating the full process of the deep excavation in two-dimension nonlinear way and get the deformation laws of excavation at the different stages of the simulation.With the aid of ABAQUS, I analysis many kinds of influencing factors to the deformation (such as the stiffness of the concrete wall, the depth of the wall into the soil, the axial force of the support, the construction method, etc), and then I get the effective methods to reduce the deformation of the deep excavation.Above all, this paper obtains the deformation laws of the deep excavation by site monitoring, deformation forecasting and the simulation, and this will be the help for designing and constructing in the similar engineering.
