Hub-based Interchange is an important transport node in expressway system, which is the key to determine whether the rapid way most function. In this paper, make WeiKun Interchange in Tianjin as an example, to study the urban capacity of interchange. Through advanced traffic data collection equipment, the research observations traffic flow of Wei-Kun Interchange, collecting a large number of Interchange road conditions and traffic conditions database, access to basic sections, sub/confluence area, cutting area, as well as the ramp of the traffic flow characteristics parameters and based on the Acceptable gap theory, establishment theoretical model of sub/confluence zone and cutting zone capacity, derived its capacity.Through measured and simulation data experience the speed and density calibration model of the United States HCM2000 combined with the actual traffic conditions of the Interchange, through the measured data the study experience the main line and model expectations of a typical ramp rate of calibration, the convergence zone and the acceleration lane to change lanes intertwined area distribution model calibration typical characteristics of the vehicle speed calibration. Through simulation experiments, the establishment of Interchange Flow - density - velocity model of statistical analysis, the Interchange and the various parts of the overall traffic capacity and service level indicators.
