As the related project of Beijing Olympic buildings in 2008, reliability and safety are the main content of the electrical design about the underground commercial building in the center of Beijing Olympic Park.Based on the general situation of the underground commercial buildings'own peculiarity and development on current at home and abroad, this paper research and submit a safe and reliable, technically advanced, economical and practical, easy maintenance and management and energy-efficient electrical system in the building. The electrical systems include 10/0.4kV power distribution system, electric fires control system, autom, fire fighting blocking system and so on. These systems used many advanced technology, products and equipment, embodied the three ideas of"Green, S & T and Humane Olympic Games"This underground commercial building has been putted into operation officially in 2008. During the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, The electrical system can not only meet the operation during peak periods, and guarantee the electricity need power supply reliability and continuity, also adapted to the post-match integrates commerce, leisure, travel for the integration of operation mode, and realize the sustainable development.
