But there are many problems that our cities are facing, such as density of population, traffic congestion, environmental pollution, absence of greenbelts and so on. All these problems will influence the sustainable development of the cities. The practice of developed countries suggests that one of the most effective ways to solve such problems is to develop and utilize underground space resource orderly, reasonably synthetically and efficiently. Since our country is still in the preliminary stage of studying the underground commercial building .there is no systematic theory in this regard.Underground commercial building is the developing trend of our underground space, and it is the best way of settling the city's confliction. For its specialty, to improve the shopping environment in these building, these thesis bring a forward way of building the direction feeling in underground building and increasing the opening space by analyzing the organization, construction elements and environmental elements of public transportation. Finally, a case study is given for development and utilization of underground commercial building of the Xian yang nation modern under square.
