Thermal characteristics of the wall is an important effect factor on building energy consumption, it is not only related with its own thermal resistance, thermal coefficient of materials, but also has a certain relationship of its structure, at the same time, there is a certain influence of different modes of operation of the air-conditioning system on thermal characteristics of wall.Through the determination of the air conditioning operation mode of the typical office worker and investigation about personnel behavior patterns in hot summer and cold winter, this subject get the air conditioning intermittent operation mode are common status quo in hot summer and cold winter. Combined with the needs of the subject research and experimental platform test time limit, five kinds of air conditioning operating mode are determined in the subject.Take Chongqing as an example, through the investigation of the wall materials current situation as well as standard on thermal performance of the wall and heat preservation material use policy, external, internal and self thermal insulation wall are selected to build the experimental platform to do experiment research of intermittent air conditioning operation mode of the thermal performance of the wall.A more realistic calculation method of the harmonic response method is proposed. Theory calculation and measurement analysis of the wall transient thermal performance in summer shows that, attenuation and delay of outdoor temperature in the external thermal insulation wall is greatest, whose peak temperature of inside surface is 0.3℃lower than internal thermal insulation wall, and 0.2℃lower than self thermal insulation wall with the same room inside and outside boundary conditions.The calculation of heat storage of wall material layer in the different run modes of the air conditioning shows that each layer of the wall most storage heat in the daytime and release heat in the night; the insulation performance of external thermal insulation wall is better than internal insulation wall and self thermal insulation wall.Different wall has different inside surface temperature and different indoor thermal comfort in different running modes of the air conditioning, seeing from inside surface temperature stability of the wall, the comfort of the external thermal insulation wall is better; Through the analysis of the heat flow and heat gain of the wall, it shows that, the heat gain of the external thermal insulation wall is less than internal thermal insulation wall except bedroom intermittent air conditioning running modes, the heat gain of the external thermal insulation wall is least and the heat insulation wall is the largest in other air conditioning run modes.Through the contrast analysis, give the comprehensive thermal performance evaluation of three examples of the wall, that is, external thermal insulation wall is best, it determines by the air conditioning run modes whether the insulation heat preservation wall is better compared with the external thermal insulation wall. This subject provides the basis for residential building's wall selection in hot summer and cold winter.
