Affected by the scarcity of coal resources and transport capacity deficiency of coal markets in China, the current situation that most power plants in China burn blended coal to replace designed coal can't be avoid. However, due to coal fired boiler is designed for specific coal type, the change of coal type can bring adverse effect to the economics and the security of boiler's operation. Therefore, how to implement the mix-burning of different coal types effectively and ensure plant boiler's security, economic, environmental and other indicators meeting the requirement of power production even achieving the best is an important subject for burning blending coal power plants.Establishing model of power coal blending is a effective method to instruct power plant burning blending coals reasonably. For power plants in southeast coastal area always burn blending coals composted of bituminous coals and Indonesian coals to replace designed coals, this article makes the research of power coal blending model on the basis of experimental research.First of all, coal properties routine analysis, thermo gravimetric experiment, drop tube furnace combustion experiment, and melting characteristics analysis are done as the research objects of 4 types of bituminous coals, 3 types of Indonesia coals and 24 types of blending coals composed of them. The liner additive character of blending coal quality is tested with t test method. Ignition temperature, burnout discriminate index and ash fusion point are chosen to be indexes to analyze the ignition characteristic the burnout characteristic and the melting characteristic of blending coals.Secondly, the power coal blending prediction model is established by using BP neural network to predict blending coals'characteristics, and the performance of the model is well. How to choose the important parameters of BP neural network also be researched. Finally, the problem that how to implement multi-objective function optimization in the power coal blending optimization model is solved by Multi-objective decision in Fuzzy Mathematics.Finally, the power coal blending optimization model is established by using Multi-objective decision in Fuzzy Mathematics. A best coal blending scheme is drafted for a power plant of Guangdong by using the multi-objective optimization model.
