Because of the drastic demand for energy, many studies have been conducted for developing new energy. Solar energy has been widely utilized owe to no pollution and terrain limitation. Solar cell measurement is significant during its whole product chain. But the traditional measurement instrument is so much expensive and big that it can't meet the increasingly expanding market. In this paper, an intelligent solar cell measurement system based on MCU is introduced.MCU is chosen as the control and data process core. Through a negative feedback circuit consisted by DAC, electronic load, compensation source and solar cell, the output voltage of the solar cell can be adjusted continuously. The test operation is very simple and the history data can be accessed by using key and EEPROM circuit. The temperature and illumination module can be used to test the temperature of solar cell and irradiance, upon that the influence on the solar cell characteristics from the temperature and illumination can be analyzed.The software is developed by C language combined with uVison3. The software design includes DAC software, key software and ADC software etc. After the process of software, the measure precision can be improved, the I-V and P-V curve can be drawn through least-square numerical techniques and the Maximum Power Point can be worked out.With the collaboration of software and hardware,the system can measure the parameters of the solar cell,such as open circuit voltage,short circuit current,fill factor and efficiency,what is more,it has the characters of small volume and intelligence.
