| With the increasing of electrical load in urban power network, the failure rate of power cable is increasing greatly. So the insulation online-monitoring and diagnosis of power cable is more and more important for the entire power system to run safely and stable. Firstly the insulation online monitoring method of power cables at home and abroad is summarized in the paper. Secondly the online monitoring theory of cable main insulation and sheath insulation of cross-linked power cable are introduced. Next a cross-linked power cable simulation system is built by capacitor, transformer and resistance, in which the operation and fault conditions of the cable, the inductive voltage and the circulating current of metallic sheath, the capacitive current of main insulation are simulated. Finally an insulation online monitoring system consisted of detection unit, PIC32 microchip, RS485, serial device server and Computer Internet is developed in laboratory. |
