| Urban rail transit metro plays the main character in the urban traffic system for its great advantages, e.g., energy-saving and environmental-protection. Meanwhile, the Auto Fare Collection System (AFC system) is an important part in the rail transit system, because it is the interactive bridge between passengers and the rail transit system.This essay firstly analyzes the current situation of domestic rail transit AFC system, compares and analyzes the strong and weak points of the present system. Recently, the popular use of domestic rail transit system brings huge operation data to the AFC system, while at the same time, in order to keep the robustness and maintainability, the system suffers from countless log data, then it inevitably affects the system performance and stability because of so many redundant data. In order to resolve the problem, the essay proposes to achieve the goal that achieves an AFC system with a mechanism to solve those redundant data. The essay analyzes the requirements of the AFC system, and also describes the structure and operation principles. Finally, the essay attended the design and development of the system and focused on the development of the data processing module.The essay discusses the structure and functions about the AFC system by analyzed the requirements of the AFC system, and the system according to the functions is divided into three subsystems. Business processing subsystem is used to achieve the entire business function of AFC system. System processing subsystem is used to achieve the self-monitoring and maintenance function, in order to improve the maintainability of the system. Data processing subsystem is the focus of the essay, according to the system with the different communication interface of external system, the AFC system introduces the concept of redundant data processing which can recognize and process whether the different kind of the data is redundant.
