Measures and decisions to cope with different emergencies should distinguish according to different subway operation faults and different risk levels. On the basis of urban rail transit operation database, data mining method was applied in urban rail traffic accident classifications to clear their risk level, thus to establish a high-hierarchy and high-risk risk level database. Further more, operation decision support can be provided for the operating unit when results of data mining was applied in urban rail transit emergency management system.Association rule mining is a very active branch of data mining. This method can be applied to the data mining process of large database and thus correlations among different data attributes can be recognized. In this way, solid practicability can be shown. By establishing an urban rail transit operation data analys model and using weighted association rules mining method to analys rail transit operation data, the risk range of operational faults can be built according to the connections among different operation datas, making it more reasonable use and service in urban rail transit emergency scheduling command system, and thus providing better data support in the background.First of all, the paper analyzed current usage situation of rail transit data, the need of operation faults risk level classification by the operation deparment and feasibility of the data mining methods. Then the research object was clarified and the research status at home and abroad was analyzed. The important significance of urban rail transit data mining was clarified from the need layer, data layer and, at the same time, method layer.Secondly, to analyze the urban rail transit operation data and operational fault classification, and furthermore design was conducted to the overall process of operation data mining.Thirdly, the theoretical basis of the method of association rule data mining was introduced, and calassic weighted association rules algorithm was improved according to the structure and characteristics of the urban rail transit operational data.Fourthly, software programming method was used to the algorithm by Matlab. In he process, the operation data was imported to the program to be analyzed and calculated. The fault risk rating of urban rail transit operation was then formed.Finally, the operation data and the risk level data of the operation fault which vas appeared after the process of data mining can be applied in urban rail transit emergency scheduling command system as the background data, thus providing support to the process of emergency management and decision.
