Whether the active chilled beam is regarded as an adding score item by AGBC LEED certification, for the DOE (USA) assigns it as the most economically advantageous technology of 15 HVAC energy saving technologies at present and in the future, these have proven that active chilled beams have a good extensive application prospect and development momentum. The foreign research of the technology has tended to be mature, in many high-quality buildings have been used. But in China the study of active chilled beam is still in its introducing stage, related works on it is very rare. As a technology produced, development and began to flourish in Europe, whether is existing structure, performance parameters and system adapt to China's technology, constructions and climate characteristics? What is suitable for China's active chilled beam parameters and system?Based on this, at first, this paper determines the performance parameters based on principle of active chilled beams:cooling capacity of the water side, the ratio of cooling capacity of air side and water side (m) and the ratio of the primary air flow and the water side cooling capacity (n). And based of analysis the characteristics of primary air cooling dehumidification, by means of heat and mass transfer theory and excel data analysis, this paper designs a calculation method that is beam to determine the dehumidification capacity and handling system of the primary air system. Application of the calculation method to analyze the form of cooling dehumidifying system, the scope of performance parameters and change law at different interior design parameters, different outdoor meteorological parameters (by time and different regions) and different building types. Then the paper summarizes the scope of application and effect.Based on the principle of liquid desiccant and the characteristics of chilled beam system, this paper identified the basic form of liquid desiccant active chilled beam system. And calculation and analysis the scope of performance parameters and change law at different interior design parameters, different outdoor meteorological parameters (by time and different regions) and different building types. And compared and summarized with the performance parameter of primary air cooling dehumidification system. Through this work, the paper gives the parameter require of active chilled beams that adapt to the characteristics of China, and provides the theory basis for the future active chilled beam application and product development in different parts of China, different design conditions and different architectural forms.
