Several Possible About Structural Thinking Used Architectural Design

With the refinement of division of professional specialization, architectural design industry have achieved great development, meanwhile, that also artificially cut the inner link among them。Which can be fully proved by relationship between architecture and structure。The main problems are in two ways: some architects only care about the art of architecture, one-side in pursuit of a certain architectural style, consider structure as obstacles of the construction performance; some other architects beyond their grasp due to lack of adequate knowledge of the structure。Both failed to achieve the proper action to architectural creation, negated the great charm of structures。Now there comes the era of information, contemporary architects face much more architectural source material than ever, and more complex requirements on design innovation。Therefore, it is necessary to re-recognize the value of the structure of architectural creation。This article was made in accordance with the theoretical analysis to practical application of the ideas, select certain view point, focused on great signification inside thinking and architectural design。In the analysis and discussion process, try to focus summarized the overall issue on the end of the article。In the chapter one and two, realize the inner link between architecture and structure by retrospect architectural history。The chapter three looks back the earthquake disaster around territory of China, combine current situation and level of anti-seismic design, with which describe the main method and control point。In the chapter four, analyze several different structure type。At the end discuss the process and respective method of structural expression。The chapter five introduces some basic conception of bionic architecture, and by examples demonstrating its meaning for invention。In the chapter six, some of the security accident and contemporary requirements are taken for showing the importance in structural security design and architectural invention, that dialectically indicates their inter-link, properly handle the conflict between the two, as far as the possibility in designing practice。In this article, from chapter 1 to 6, with several examples showing the possibility of "feedback" that reacted by architectural design。At the end,I think,to really grasp these possibilities, in order to serve creative design, and combine the three points: combination between architectural vivid image and structural rigorous logic; improve structural capacity of architects and enhance the artistic accomplishments of structural engineers; and the combination of architectural style and structure morphology。...
