Cogitation And Strategy Of Structural Hierarchy In Architectural Design

The hierarchy of structure is an organizational relationship of structural components,a materialized form of force flow,and a main way to express the structural logic.Studying the hierarchy of structures provides a perspective to analyze the structure of the building.Meanwhile,the hierarchy of structure also influences the design of building's ontology.The specific organization and operation methods of the structural hierarchy will have a negligible impact on the architectural form and will even dominate the architectural design and construction process.This paper expounds the connotation and significance of the structural hierarchy from the dual perspectives of structure and architecture.Taking the structure hierarchy as the focus,reveal the relationship between structural organization and architectural forms.This paper firstly explains the hierarchical phenomenon in the planar structure system and the vertical structure system,and summarizes the basic hierarchical structure.Then,it discusses the organizational relationship and its manifestation in the interface and space of the building,as well as the influence and significance of the architectural design.And on that basis,the relationship between the representation of architectural form and the internal logic of component organization is explored.By establishing the calculation model,the technical logic behind the form is analyzed,which is proved that the architectural form has both artistic beauty and structural rationality.Finally,based on the phenomenon of Chinese ancient construction and typical cases in modern architecture,it discusses how structural hierarchical thinking participates in and even dominates the architectural design and construction process.This paper explores the interaction between structure and archite cture from the perspective of hierarchy.By classifying and summarizing the cases with clear hierarchical features,using software computing platform as a tool to analyze the structure,motivation and technical logic of the structure level behind the architectural form.Hoping to provide architects with new design ideas under the guidance of structural hierarchy.The paper consists of 58,000 words,126 pictures,and 27 forms.
