Study On The Regionality Of The Contemporary Settlements From A Cultural Perspective

It has been a hot topic of residential areas, relevant theoretical is literature and more mature. With the improvement of living standards, the residents'living environment space is required to increase,In residential areas, it is not necessary to meet people's basic needs, but also to meet people's spiritual pursuit. therefore, it is very important to create the culture of the community.With collecting data about the literature, I found: the cultural characteristics of the residential area, is closely related with the geographical and cultural living. Therefore, this article discussed the contemporary residential design from the living culture of the regional perspective. First, briefly explaned the living culture of the relevant geographical concept;second, listed settlements with regional characteristics and cultural examples, then detailed instructions to arouse people's living culture and regional attention; Third, cited the successful examples : Vanke Crystal City and the fifth park in Shenzhen, indicating the feasibility and positive role of the geographical and cultural construction in the settlements; Finally, proposed the problems of the community building using in the geographical and cultural, and described the solutions .This paper hopes to tap and protect the unique geographical cultural and guides the culture design of modern community.
