In recent years, with the rapid development of urban construction, the maintaining and shaping of urban feature suffers lots of opportunity, but it also face many problem. After the demolition and construction, Many large and medium-sized cities lost their original urban pattern and personality, but the new-formed urban area are always the same and lack of their own characteristic. As a result, the constructors and the citizen become more and more care about the protection and development of urban feature."The features of the cities"turns into the main issue of people after the city's livability, Competitive strength and urban view.Base on the urban characteristic research of other scholars and a large number of city-protection and development, the thesis redefine the meaning, contents and feature of urban characteristic, then propose his own contents of urban feature. According to the problem of nowadays detached theory research and practice ,the author advance a value system of urban feature.The author adopt AHP, Delphi analysis and Statistical analysis to value and select the factor. By using the threshold principle, highlights-degree and quality-degree, the author builds a triangular pyramid to demonstrate the relationship of each factor and show the final result to the readers.
