With the reform of China's pharmaceutical industry and the rapid developmentof the pharmaceutical market. Pharmaceutical logistics, as an important part ofpharmaceutical distribution, ushered in a huge space for development andopportunities and become more and more attention by the industry. In all aspects ofpharmaceutical logistics operations, pharmaceutical logistics distribution is a veryimportant one, plays a very important role in the whole logistics process andaccounted for a large proportion of the entire logistics costs. In order to reducetransportation costs, improve vehicle operational efficiency and strengthen themarket competitiveness of enterprises, how to make reasonable arrangements for thedelivery vehicle path has become a hot topic for many scholars. In order to solve thisproblem, this paper presents a solution with some practical guiding significancebased on particle swarm optimization algorithm to optimize the distribution line,reduce distribution costs of pharmaceutical logistics enterprises.This paper introduces the basic concepts and characteristics of logistics,logistics distribution and pharmaceutical logistics distribution, explain the statusquo of China's pharmaceutical logistics industry, analysis the causes of China'slogistics high cost. Then introduces the status quo of vehicle routing problem,introduces the concept, types and algorithm of the vehicle routing problem whichmake us understand the whole vehicle routing problem. Then make a detaileddescription for the principle and the parameters of particle swarm optimizationalgorithm, compared the characteristics of the particle swarm optimization and otherintelligent algorithm,try to use an improved method of particle swarm optimizationalgorithm on the basis of previous studies, just through nonlinear strategy to adjustthe inertia weight and learning factors,make it has a better global and local searchcapabilities.Test on the test function, the improved method of particle swarmoptimization algorithm performance is good.Then established a model ofpharmaceutical logistics vehicle routing problem, define an objective function andconstraints, make a note for how to use the particle swarm algorithm to solve thevehicle routing problem. Finally, using MATLAB software to simulate vehiclerouting problem, proposed the improved way, show that the algorithm is a good wayto solve the vehicle routing problem.
