Gas ultrasonic flow-meter is a new instrument in flow measurement which based on ultrasound acoustic principle. Compare with additional flow-meter, the gas ultrasonic flow-meter has the advantages as running stable, easy for installation, accurate measurement of flow, no-touch style, wide bond of the range ratio, less pressure loss and energy saving. On the area of measurement in large diameter, it also has great affection.Time difference method is a flow measurement principle that widely used in gas ultrasonic flow-meter. Gas ultrasonic flow-meter mainly by the ultrasonic transducer group, signal processing circuit and integrating the system of three parts. Ultrasonic transmitter transducer transmitting ultrasonic beams through the test fluid, ultrasonic transducer receiving the signal received and amplified, filtered and converted to electrical signals, the system integrator for integrating, and ultimately flow detection. The gas ultrasonic flow-meter can achieve great accuracy, for the weak received signal and strong noise, it has lots of barrier to get its ideal state.This thesis stems from the gas transmission management division Southwest Oil&Gasfield company to carry out gas ultrasonic flowmeter used in the field of gas pipeline projects.Access to relevant information in a large number of domestic and international basis, the paper on the measurement principle of the gas ultrasonic flow-meter, technical characteristics and performance of software and hardware was carefully studied, and based on the completion of the corresponding field experiment, Mainly has:The noise clamps the type gas ultrasonic wave flow-meter influence test;Clamp-on ultrasonic gas flow-meter test alternative materials for sensor coupling agent;Thickness value of the sensor selection test;Clamp-on gas ultrasonic flow-meter for gas flow rate and pipeline pressure testing requirements;Pipe wall roughness of external clip-on gas ultrasonic flow-meter of;Straight pipe length of the gas ultrasonic flow-meter test;Clamp-on ultrasonic gas flow meter and pipe-stage gas ultrasonic flow-meter;high flow orifice valve comparison test measurement system; According to field tests and analysis of various data and follow-up commissioning,This paper analyzes the impact of clamp-on ultrasonic flow-meter for gas flow measurement factors, and concluded. Based on field application of ultrasonic gas flow-meter pipe-stage failure analysis and proposed gas field application of ultrasonic flow-meter optimization suggestions.The research results on gas ultrasonic flow-meter in the gas pipeline has some practical field application of value and reference value.
