Reverse Engineering Surveying Planning And Scanning Technology Application

With the computer, CAD/CAM, measurement techniques, the rapid development of computing engineering, reverse engineering technology has become the design process of new product development essential part in various advanced technologies, new product development. Data collection and data preprocessing is critical in reverse engineering aspects. The wheel hub for the data measurement, data preprocessing techniques and carried out a systematic study of surface reconstruction by coordinate measuring machine using contact and non contact measurement systems, modeling and follow-up of products CNC machining is great significance.In this paper, the collection problems were studied by experiment, measured from the data integrity and accuracy of data on the basis of measurement principle. Program planning and scanning program is brought forward under different conditions, because of characteristics and measuring equipment for the physical contours of the complexity. Reasonable measurement of program planning, selecting the appropriate measurement parameters and the surface treatment is necessary for the full guarantee of point cloud data.The measurement noise in the data processing removed, data reduction, smoothing and flattening point cloud data are analyzed. By streamlining the measured data points of the current theories and methods of analysis of the cloud, the use of streamlined point cloud, which effectively reduces the number of point cloud, the better to preserve the geometric properties of the original data.The hub is reconstructed by DELCAM software and method of induction and conclusion, physical reconstruction is completed in the feature, extraction method is shown by the effectiveness in all the methods.
