Under the background of the rapid development of economy and culture, the international competition pushes to the climax of history.. At present, China’s manufacturing industry is an important pillar of the national economy, the manufacturing information technology is the important part of the economic information technology. Now China has become the world’s largest producer of motorcycles, product sales worldwide. At the same time, the need of the motorcycle is no longer a simple means of transport, but also contains people’s ideas and pursuit, so it has brought new opportunities and challenges for motorcycle enterprises.. Due to the characteristics of motorcycle products of complex free-form surface. The designers used the traditional top-down design method it is difficult to get ideal curved surface modelling design. Therefore, reverse design technology comes into being in the motorcycle industry, especially in view of the need for innovation of higher frequency of motorcycle products. Reverse design technique is based on the prototype or the material object design method, so it can improve the design accuracy and innovative design, but also greatly relationship product development cycle and in design and manufacturing field of our country has a broad prospect of application. Therefore, it is of great significance and value to design the anti-Design Technology in the motorcycle body.Based on the subject, Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City Science and technology project of "digital product design and its application in the motorcycle industry research", and a motorcycle company product development as a application example. The theory study of reverse design technology, and the experimental verification and application of enterprise examples.Content mainly to achieve reverse design theory in the development of motorcycle body practical application as the goal, to reverse engineering theory in data acquisition, point cloud data processing, free surface construction, quality evaluation main content made in-depth study. At the same time, the research on the key technology of the motorcycle body product features, such as composite measurement method, ICP algorithm, automatic block and surface reconstruction, etc.. The method of data acquisition and the principle of data acquisition are analyzed, and the scheme of automatic data acquisition path planning is proposed.. Point cloud data processing, the main research of the multi data alignment, noise removed and data smoothing and data reduction, data block the main link in theory and method. Surface reconstruction mainly uses the classical mathematical model:Bezier curves, B spline curve model and the NURBS curve model to realize the surface reconstruction.
