Since the 21st century,the amount of vehicles equals about to 2 hundred million in China,human civilization gets a highly development, and at the same time brings traffic pressure. Although the government department adopted way to widen existing roads and construct new roads, and to reduce traffic pressure by high-tech means,but these measures of easing traffic pressure are only temporary. It is currently effective method that controls tracffic lights reasonably.Through investigation and research, we found that at present medium and small cities of traffic control system is relatively backward, generally employed a single mode. In this paper, a typical small city traffic situation investigation found that in different time traffic flow exists great changes, especially in on and off duty peak pedestrians and vehicles confound and traffic is very difficult. Aiming at complex characteristics of urban roads, in traffic lights we design the hardware of control system DS1302 clock for using the program control system time clues, and using an output terminal of the 74LS373 directly connected with the bus driver general line to provide way 8*8 dot matrix display. Software design is put forward in rush hour, reduces cycle control phase digits, and let vehicle queue length decreases. Signal control cycle respects to increase time, makes the phase release vehicles quantity unit time increased.This paper puts forward a relatively reasonable method, which is SCM control traffic scheme "single intersection multi mode control".This scheme put s forward seven modse. The user can choose the module of operating according to different needs.Finally we use single-chip microcomputer to simulate the main control program,and draw an effective conclusion.The traffic congestion of urban usually occurs in the main road. On the basis of previous studies, we have studied the relationship between input and output of cars,and optimized the algorithm of wire control model and put forward the mode of three level controlling. As for data acquisition, we use the rules of fuzzy control, and increase the range of it's tolerance and the applicability of system.
